Meet Your Speech Therapist!
Zoie Stewart, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Hello!! I'm Zoie! I was born and raised in Chanute, KS. I graduated from CHS in 2015. I received my Associate of Science and Associate of Art from Neosho County Community College. I then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University (ROLL TIGES!)
I have experience working with speech sound disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, and stuttering as well as a variety of communication disorders associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, hearing impairments, dementia and strokes.
I have a particular passion and interest in the early childhood population, ASD, AAC, aphasia, and cognitive-communication skills. I am a kid at heart and love doing fun, creative activities in therapy sessions. I enjoy building relationships with my clients as well as their families and I am happy to provide strategies for carryover at home.
My why for doing speech therapy is because I always knew I wanted to work with children! Growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher, like Ms. Honey from Matilda. After observing multiple teachers from K-12th grade for a full semester, I decided that teaching wasn’t the profession for me. After much convincing, I decided to observe an SLP. I absolutely loved it! From that day forward, I knew I wanted to be a speech therapist, and I never looked back! It brings me joy helping individuals find their voice, gain confidence, and then watching them thrive.
My hobbies include spending quality time with my family, dancing, being active, watching lots of college and NFL football (GO CHIEFS!) and traveling. My favorite destinations so far have been Disney World and cruising the Caribbean Islands! I also enjoy baking and crafting! If you need any t-shirts, painted canvases, or paper flowers for you or a loved one I’m your girl!
